Joseph Corrado graduated from FIT with a degree in Fashion Design and spent the next 15 years traveling the world as a designer, all the while taking photos and immersing himself in the world’s cultures and cuisines. He left the fashion industry in 1999 to open his own studio producing graphic design for advertising and, ultimately, photography. His love of food and cooking led to food photography. His appreciation for the beauty in things led to his becoming a commercial photographer of architecture. products and above all food. All the things that make life great.
It’s an all consuming love of his work that translates into images that are not only rich and vibrant but inviting and familiar all at the same time.
Recent collaborations on web and print images include Relais & Châteaux Camden Harbour Inn as well as with Chef Phil Crispo and the Norumbega Inn both in Camden, Maine and James Beard Award winning Chef Maricel Presilla in New Jersey.
Our approach is client based. Our client needs, become ours discussing the idea, brand, and audience you are trying to reach. We then create imagery that exceeds that need. Joseph also cooks, this especially has enhanced his approach to photography. His work with top chefs has developed his focus and his approach to food and that has affected his approach to all his photography.
